I agree with you but not sure that anything will be done about the continual layoffs. State Street isn't the only company that has layoffs every year. My advice is to look for a new position at another company. At least, you may feel appreciated instead of working for most managers who just don't care about your professional advancement or even care about any problems that you may have.
