Thread regarding Sprint layoffs

Store Employee

No layoff issues here but in my store there is no diversity at all. My coworkers (all levers) are almost exclusively Hispanics. This can be tough, especially I work in a very diverse metro area and the store employee profile does not match what my area's population is. Of course, managers have their favorites, Manager/ASM are not treating everyone the same and that's not cool. I have no other issues with Sprint, at some point I will leave as I am still in school, but wanted to let you know that things are not cool in some stores.

Oh course the store has nothing to worry about. It'll be the call center reap who are laid off those of us who have to deal with the problems you create in store. Empty promises you guy make that we can't keep pisses off customers and they leave. But hey as long as you get your commission that's no big deal right?

For us, goals are not based on number of employees so lower staffed stores must compensate when under staffed with higher and extremely hard to achive goals.

The management needs to be much more involved with employees to get better understanding how to set proper policy for employee and store improvements. I was let go for two reviews that I received a 4 out of 5 - one point that was deducted in each case was something i could not contrl. One customer was pissed about the wait time. The other was upset that the store did not have a warranty replacement phone ready like right away. They did not want to analyze the root of the problems and basically let me go and they said that they had to follow policy. I left and a few months later I had set the record for my store with the most perfect scores in a row, thirteen. OK, that tells you a story.

No other complaints??? WTF? How about Sales Commission Plan that is nearly impossible to understand. How about unreasonable Quota expectations in light of the ongoing network challenges.
