Thread regarding Sprint layoffs

Honest and Transparent

To maintain morale, Claure said his approach is to be very direct with his employees. “Nobody likes to be in a company that is doing layoffs,” Claure said. “The way you beat that is being very honest and transparent.”

Claure is a pompous blowhard, with no experience turning around a big company. Honesty and transparency are nice words....too bad they are just for show. No matter how many people he cuts, Sprint is going down. Poor management since before the Nextel fiasco, terrible morale, poor accountability, inefficient operations and a second-class product.

What is Claure smoking these days? Please get me some. Honest? Transparent? He will run Sprint into the ground and then just laugh his way to the bank with a big bonus. He is so out of touch it is not funny.

Morale out the window come Feb1. Honest or not. Reportedly they are not looking for volunteers for layoffs. Reportedly they want to hang on to employees (the bulk) past Jan31 then give notices. Horrible position to be in. They will be lucky if the mass don't just leave since severances have been cut in half already. The thought of possible zero severance in the next cut mid2016 or year end is even worse. "Deep and painful cuts"
