That's my only question - all other rumors are unreliable. Now everyone is talking about Feb 1st as the layoff day, but nobody knows.

I don't know how many, but that Feb 1st date is the day the compensation package gets cut in half. Instead of two weeks per year it's down to one, no $1000 signing bonus to not sue them, and no grandfathering of employees. I'm guessing that's specifically to get old timers to press to be let go before that date to lower payroll. Lot cheaper to hire someone new to do your job if you've been here 10, 15, even 20+ years. Easier to take that one time severance hit.
Oh, let me see, hmmmm, my magic ball is out of signal right now
All off you need to chill - you cannot control things here, chill and wait and see what happens. I've been w/Sprint for 15 years and stuff like this happens. If you survive, that's OK, if you are let go that's OK, all of us have good skills and will be able to find something quickly
same here - I think 4 to 6 thousands. that's just me, i donot have any special insider information. it will take a lot of layoffs to save two billion dollars
Nobody knows this. I am predicting 5K.
That's the million dollar question - we'll see buddy
