I just hope that this time around Sprint will really try to pay attention to who is being laid off, what kind of profiles are we after. Typically older workers get hit the most as they are paid more due to their experience and accumulated benefits due to tenure. I've seen on Verizon's board that a lot of people have complaints about how layoffs are done and who is being hit. If you look around the office in Overland Park you'll see some people who spent 20+ years with Sprint, and it'd would be a real shame to keep some youngsters while laying off really experienced folks (including me).
