Anyone left in Alaska? Any place left for them to go?

It's a big guess to know if they will drill again in 2016. Good time to be AK offshore- maybe they will keep getting paid for doing nothing.

Biggest bunch of losers imaginable. Saving face- an embarrassment, while enabling the morons to keep getting paid for doing nothing. Can't blame them-if Shell wants to enable losers so be it. Nice to see excellent benefits for lazy indulgent employees. I feel bad for the spouses who witness the cheating and laziness propagated by a loser culture.

All of the AK folks received jobs or will be receiving jobs in the next round. Shell does not want any loose mouths from the AK fiasco. Having the AK employees competing for positions in this MOR round severely hampered everyone's ability to keep a job

Looks like the Shell 'world tour' is finished for Offshore! Basically paid retainees waiting for Chuchki to start. Unlimited vacation time going unnoticed, 6 figures$$$$$, "educational" trips to Thailand, Dubai, Jazzfest, Korea, Malaysia on company dime. Party is over. It looked fun while it lasted.

Painful- but at least it's salaried torture... with time to look for something new.

I heard Carmon Creek staff have to go through February MOR, maybe Alaska does too? It's really just a thinly veiled way of dragging out the inevitable mass layoffs and disrupting their lives with uncertainty for months....
