https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strayer_University#Recent_history_as_Strayer_UniversityOn Thu 10/29/15, Strayer posted a video message at sunow.strayer.edu about an organization-wide restructuring. In the midatlantic region, for example, almost all Campus Deans were terminated, effective immediately. A new model will replace the Campus Dean role with an "Academic Services Manager" without doctoral credentials and for less money. Some "ASM" staff will manage multiple campuses in a given region.

I work at Strayer University in admissions and I am honestly worried about my job. Things are getting sketchy and brushed under the rug, if you know what I mean. They have randomly fired a couple people at my work, and they seem to be trying to keep this layoff situation on the down low and try to make it seem like it's no big deal.

Strayer has eliminated Campus Dean and Director jobs at all existing campuses. About 150 campus leadership jobs terminated on 10-29-15. Full time faculty roles will no longer have a yearly contract, and must teach 5 courses per quarter instead of 4. Strayer says they won't close more campuses, but that majority of future students will be online only... so you be the judge.
