People wonder why our unemployment is like this? I have to give props to you "Big Daddy" for contributing to the unemployment bucket. Ruining so many lives here in America. SHAME ON YOU! Taking people's careers and opportunities away from them is really awful. Oh I understand about making the almighty $$$...and that's all it's really about. I, We are all only numbers. Well, it's not nice to be greedy. Wait and watch...BD bit off more than they can chew. There will be so many drastic changes occur within the next three years. And, who knows what will be left of LEGACY CAREFUSION?

When I started at BD 15 years ago one of the deciding factors of taking the job was the fact that BD seemed to really care about their employees and vice versa. Everyone I interviewed with had 20+ years with the company, BD had a great retirement package (85 point system), Bonus Structure, Health Insurance Package, they did so many things to boost employee moral (great 'Holiday Party', annual company picnic that was loved by my entire family, etc. etc...)
It's amazing how far the company has 'fallen' over the past decade. No longer is there any of the above. We were forced into the new pension plan (lump sum payout), we will receive no insurance post retirement, gone are all the 'family' oriented activities that meant a lot to us. They are 'laying off' people who have devoted 20, 30, 40+ years with the company in the blink of an eye, no thought to it!
Yet the still claim to be voted the #1 company to work for....Who is voting? lol
