As a former employee, I recognize that there is so many good people working at AIO, but also a lot of scum as well. If you're on of the good ones, GET OUT NOW. Find a new job. When you're caught up in the culture there, it's easy to say, "I'm just doing my job." and go about your life in a normal way. Once you're gone, doing actual meaningful work, you'll look back and say WTF was wrong with me?
Speaking from experience, get out now before you're competing with the entire office for new jobs.

Yes, before you leave, listen to Truth. Grab all your sh*t off your desk and some stuff from other people's as well. It's mostly junk though. I stole some stuff off this desk from some sucker who got canned. It was just some crappy gift from their kids though. HR came by and asked about it a few weeks later and I was going to give it back but it was such a bad gift I dropped it in the gutter walking across 16th Street Bridge.
Get out and get something on your resume to distance yourself EDMC. The corporation is collapsing in a plume of negative publicity and you don't want your name to be associated with it. Most of the people I knew while working there were good people with good intentions who gave their best and deserved better. Since leaving my life has improved 100%.
There is a life beyond EDMC...the place is unethical and I am so happy to be free of this place!!! I wish I had the guts to do it earlier.
Employees steal from your desk once you're let go, even if they are gifts from your children or loved ones. I got let go and it took 5 weeks to receive my picked over belongings. HR had the balls to include an invetory sheet, "AS IF" I called HR about it and expressed how upset I was about my gifts from my children missing from my box because of my manager and dos and I never heard back after HR assured me they would look into it.
Also a former employee. Definitely get out. Ruining lives isn't worth the pay. Look at it his way: it's pretty much quit or be laid off anyway.

I could not agree with this more. Took the faculty severance in June and MUCH better off!
