I got my review today. OMG, how wrong is it to praise someone on all that they did, all their abilities, and then say, sorry you get 0% increase, less than 1% bonus and 0% VPR. WTF??????????? I hate this company with a passion, I will absolutely take 'the hint' and be leaving soon, along with all of my knowledge from the past 25 yrs. F--- YOU MEG WHITMAN!!!!!!!!! I hope your 50 million dollar raise makes you rot in hell!!!

Holy Sh!t batman. These comments are like I typed them myself. I thought I was the only one that knew Scott Wood Architected the layoff of all loyal and quality people at HPE........ I heard from a reseller that he has become the town Drunk of OEM's.
It comes down the the engineer of the the whole process - Scott Wood - VP. They even had job descriptions which included - Degree within the last two years! I don't have a problem with bringing in fresh meat. However, blatant disregard for 25-35 yr employee loyalty is disgusting. Most Boomers have made it close to retirement. However the early Gen X group is dead in the water with kids in college. There are no mentors and no experienced folks to integrate old with new But that isn't half of it. The culture is gone. No respect for the worker or co-worker, no "open door" policy and no reward for work equation whatsoever. It is amazing, It's like they are following the IBM Blue Print. At Least IBM has a high end compute product that is now kicking a--. HPE has no single fall back. Printer division is HP Inc. Management only wants those that tell them what they want to hear. Not reality. Meg Whitman has never done anything in her entire life. The board at HPE/HP Inc. is completely absent and must obviously be in it to move business to other companies they see as the Future of IT. I have no other explanation for the destruction of so many good companies along the way.... Compaq, Digital and 3PAR just to mention a few..... Customers see it. But the employee with their head up an a-- survives year after year. I was there and it was death by a thousand cuts from management!
You're better off anywhere else. I was laid off 11 years back, afterwards I found out that they use a rule in HR that they MUST reduce the number of employees by 10% each year so every manager must pick someone to mark lower in their reviews, no matter how hard they work.
That was 11 years back, now they're probably taking 50% given how crappy they are. I got a new job right after the HP treatment and I've been marked very high every year consistently, with raises and bonuses. It isn't a tech company either, and bonus points because I got to put the skids HP equipment and services at my new company. There isn't an HP box to be seen any longer. We're very happy.
As a recent WFR'er (HP blue if you know what that is) from the summer purge with 27yrs in, very happy to be out and was just waiting it out anyway.
Earlier in 2015, unit managers elequently stated their goal over the coming quarters was to layoff the expensive and old (50) resources and replace with cheap/young talent. Not rocket science.
Good luck with that as my old customers are noticeably upset and pulling up stakes and refeshing with competator products. No talent left to justify the premium HP charges. Sad state of affairs, give HPE at the most 5yrs and HPinc one before complete collapse.
Why wait for WFR, just get out. You will look back and wonder why you put up with declining holidays, compressed wages and bonus, bureaucracy, and BS. Nothing is perfect. But why hang out and watch the deck chairs rearranged on the Titanic.
If you've been at HP for 25 years, then even a 1% bonus is still probably high four figures, which is a lot more than a lot of other people got. So stuff it. There are too many former HPers out there who are wondering how they're going to pay for any Christmas. If you don't like it, leave. But be thankful you got a bonus--and a paycheck.
HP Enterprise has both wrong managements and flaky leaderships. Indeed, Life sucks then you die!!
That's why I resigned several months ago. Now I got a better job plus descent salary in the new
company.
Cheer ................................. : ))))
Oh yeah, it sure sucks.
Same story here. Good review. Sounded like they thought I walked on water. But oh yeah- no raise, minimal bonus.
I asked my manager how the company expected us to be happy with this. He said he didn't know if they did.
I wouldn't let that old whore sk my dk.
As they will all get their bonus (Meg D-bag and her ball sniffers) I hope you get what you really deserve, karma is coming.
Amen, brother!
