Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

Is your FPR as shitty as mine is?

Hello, although this is not a layoff post, who got a raise in the US, UK or any other non -3rd world country???? I just got my review today and was told that no-one in the US or any other country that is not 'low cost', would get a 0% increase, ON TOP OF THAT, the VPR is also 0%. Only folks in Costa Rica, India, Phillipines, etc get a raise THIS YEAR. SO ANYONE WAITING FOR THEIR FPR AND EXPECT TO BE REWARDED FOR THEIR HARD WORK>>>>>>>>>>>F--- US ALL, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN WITH HP.

Dave and Bill are rolling in their graves. It is sad that they put so much heart into this

company and it has been ruined. I am so glad I worked for HP during the "HP Way"

days when employees were treated fairly and with respect. I not only loved my job

but was well paid for my efforts and expertise.

I was told no raises were funded due to the build out in El Paso and Idaho. Cheaper areas. But then I find that people as part of corporate got raises and larger bonuses. Such BS! 28 years with EDS and then HP. Company is not taking care of their people and the company will suffer. Upper management should be laid off to save money. They make bad decisions to met their numbers, get their big bonuses and then leave a mess behind. Tired of being screwed over by HP.

I'm a former EDSr and I left HP last June. Best thing I ever did. New company actually cares about it's employees. Plus I am making 25% more than I was making last year this time.

Do not listen your manager telling you "Be glad you have a job".

I resigned from HPE couple of months ago. Now I got ~15% raises from my new company. Be a man!! when there is a life, there is a hope !!

Do not wait until they outsource your job to India. Good luck!

Yeah, my manager confirmed that nobody in our entire organization (at least below managers) got any compensation increases, and nobody in our organization (again, below managers, at least) has ever heard of bonuses.

Meg could have just pre-recorded that FPR message and sent it out globally, why waste our managers' and our time with the charade FPRs? They knew back in June when they "split" the FPR discussions that this was the case - and are probably laughing about springing this on us just before Christmas.

Merry Farking Christmas, Meg, you worthless piece of crud.

"This was the last straw for me. I keep hoping year after year that 'this time they will treat me fairly'...joke is on me once again. Time to go."

That's their plan! They give you nothing and you leave. Saves on the redundancy.

I also received a 0% raise and really crappy bonus. I don't know how they expect us to just keep killing ourselves for nothing. My boss basically said 'be glad you have a job'. WTF, it isn't 2007 anymore, there ARE lots of other jobs out there. I know of people who have left who are so happy and getting rewarded according to how they perform. This was the last straw for me. I keep hoping year after year that 'this time they will treat me fairly'...joke is on me once again. Time to go.
