"I'm going to take all my ill gotten bonuses, stock options and savings from the outrageous salary these suckers paid me for destroying their company and retire to Florida. And my severance will be more than all your traitorous, ungrateful, incompetent bastards will make in your combined life times" ....flexes moustache and gives a Martin Shkreli style self righteous smirk.
Bad Ron, Bad Ron, Watcha gonna do when they come for you, Bad Ron.
Everyone at OD should thank Ronnie boy for the Christmas gift.
I'd love to see that video. I'm sure the NAC executives are whining too, since that was the primary reason the FTC said no. Bad deal for the large corporate customers. I feel bad for me ex-coworkers stuck in this mess of a company. $250 billion out the door? Who's going to be laid off first?
All of you so call stock holders should man up. This is what a CEO gets paid to play with other people's money. Instead of giving away 250,000,000+++ to another company. All that money could have been put to good use. You suck!!!!!!!!!
Really think it will be more fun to watch him be stubborn and have to be forced out.
Hey, Ron if your a real man take your hefty parachute package a leave . The damage is done .
On the flip side I may buy OD cause they are potentially getting a quarter billion dollar windfall....
It's way worse than most know. They (Staples) have a commitment to pay Office Depot $250 million (or more) regardless of whether or not the deal goes through. Yeah give your competitor a quarter BILLION DOLLARS and get ZERO in return... R D O complete fools.
And on the likelihood of the court ruling in favor of Staples h:-) No they won't, and they won't even have to rule. The FTC can delay this until Staples is long dead and buried. They have a history of never losing these things in part because the companies eventually give up!
So I need to revise my SPLS price for Feb 2016. I had said $7.00. New target $5.50.
It's over, It's over, It's over, It's over, It's over, you sorry F---'s R D & O
It is not over until the court case. He made a little video that was posted on the Staples Corp. intranet. Cried and whined and stomped his feet liker a spoiled brat that was finally told "No!".
