Now that we know what truly is happening with the closures, mergers, and restructuring, I hope now you believe that people who claim to be insiders, are in fact trolls who either are former employees who don't know shit, current employees who don't know shit, and/or people who would have you believe their guesses and opinions are fact. Just a word of advice...Ask your campus leadership to be transparent with you. They can tell you how healthy your campus is. Do your job to the best of your ability. Effing leave if you're unhappy. And to the leadership out there--identify those employees who aren't committed to saving this company and who really could give a rats ass if we're successful are not. Help those leaches find new careers. You know who they are.

Good luck meeting any of these standards.
80-90% placement. 80% retention and 300 students
You state "bring themselves up to standards" without mention of what those standards are. That's an open ended statement like most posts here are. What you don't seem to understand is most campus presidents are not transparent to the staff on what the actual state of their campus is.
If Zenith wants to keep Wyotech going they can't close Laramie anyways. Laramie is the main campus, Blairsville is a branch campus of Laramie. If things don't improve soon they will have no choice but to consolidate.
The decision was made to keep Laramie open; Due to longstanding name recognition, potential for expanding corporate educational training/partnerships, and quite frankly, pressure from Wy congressional delegation. Blairsville, as well as Daytona, was given the same opportunities to bring themselves up to standard, the same as the other campuses. Good luck
Everything that's posted on this board is about Everest, there's barely anything written about Wyotech. I know our population is in the toilet and I am concerned. Between Laramie and Blairsville we have less than 600 students and there is no way we can continue funding both campuses with so few students. They have reduced the staff about as low as possible so I can't see there being many more RIFs to cut costs. I'm very concerned they will consolidate Blairsville with Laramie and close Blairsville. Anyone know anything about this?
If you read what I posted under Bremerton campus closure, then you would see exactly what is unfolding. After the first quarter, we should see a stabilization of the camuses going forward. Zenith is going to cut all under performing schools and eliminate programs that don't fit or are under performing. You will not see a protracted rig or announcement; The cuts will be made and the company moved forward. Schools were given 6 months to get their acts together or close. The CP are obviously, well aware of this mandate. Good luck
The insider posted information here that turned out to be true long before we heard it from anyone in management. All you do is tell people that you really know things and if we aren't happy to quit. You are nothing more than a corporate person coming on here trying to talk up Dave Hawn and Zenith. This is a layoff site, it's not a company propaganda site. We get enough of your kind of bs from management.
Good speech, but what do you mean "Saving" this company. The Everest name is toxic in this industry, & the world knows it. I applaud your "positive spirit" lol, but any student that attends this school at this point, deserves to be screwed. However, you keep up the good fight! hahahahaha.
I said you were either guessing or restating fact that's already public knowledge. What's obvious from some of these posts is that campus leadership is not communicating with its employees. If you ever share any truthful info that's out of the public realm, where you're not claiming your suppositions to be fact, I'll be the first to acknowledge it.
OP, where was I wrong? I stated that the original plans were for 30 - 35 campuses. Zenith has 46 campuses and 11 are in or going into teach out with programs being dicontinued at others. There are still 5 campuses that are on the ropes of possible closures in the near future if they don't show improvement. Two campuses were moved from the closure list to the extended evaluation list within the last 90 days. So, there's still the chance Zenith will be down to 30 campuses by July.
Common sense tip #135: just because you ask your boss/leadership to be "transparent" with you, does not mean they actually will be (especially if they're unethical themselves).
OP: I like your optimism. Ian not sure what school you are coming from or what drugs you have available to you. If you come one day in my campus you will see we have a donkey for a president and goes downhill from there. Please stop giving out wrong information.
And you believe everything they tell you? Hawn has a history of telling us what he thinks we want to hear, not necessarily the truth. If you want to believe the idiotic changes that were made will turn this ship around, that's your prerogative. Hawn has restructured Zenith at least four times since February and it's only gotten worse. He has absolutely no idea what he's doing and that has been proven with all the wrong moves he's made. Just look at the trend in the enrollment numbers since February and you can gage how well all the changes are going. The OP is living in a fantasy world of hope and denial. Anyone that believes Zenith will be saved is a bigger idiot than Dave Hawn. By the way OP, you need to wipe the brown off your nose, it's affecting your vision.
Would drinking the Koop-aid get the taste of ass out of the OP's mouth?
