Thread regarding VMware Inc. layoffs

I have heard it's will be very bad in January. Tough times ahead. I know some 100 people laidoffed in Nov. Mostly mid management.

This is not true. Vmware just now distributed huge stocks at Airwatch and they added bonus to package. And december end they giving more amount as a nice gesture. People are motivated and happy.

I just graduated and got an offer as

MTS software engineer at PaloAlto site

Is that safe to get onboard on Jan. 2016?
