That's weird they just posted a job 8 days ago on LinkedIn for an engineer in Santa Clara.

Confirmed: The layoff of Dell's research team in Santa Clara occurred. Many PhD level researchers along with the leader of the organization are no longer with the company.

Well, when Dell acquires EMC, the Santa Clara group will be severely reduced.
