@EKc7CXK-4glh There were about 15 of us in the Santa Clara research team. A handful more in Austin and India. Everyone from the research VP down was laid off.

That's weird they just posted a job 8 days ago on LinkedIn for an engineer in Santa Clara.

Confirmed: The layoff of Dell's research team in Santa Clara occurred. Many PhD level researchers along with the leader of the organization are no longer with the company.

Well, when Dell acquires EMC, the Santa Clara group will be severely reduced.
