where I am. its your age + years of service = if your number adds up to 80 or above then you would be considered for early retirement.
Dear HR:
Please consider another VERP. Maybe you could raise the age threshold to 60 or 62. This would help reduce the number of highly paid employees.
Our HR rep told us they would not be offering again.
