Unemployed for +4 years, ECMC now uses computerized speed dial to phone BOTH a residential address affiliated with my name AND a business address affiliated with my name.A pitched squeaky voiced male who fradulently uses the name "Jim" repeat dials the numbers daily.

His dialing violates the privacy of the residential home, obstructs business access, and runs up charges on the metered business line. Having graduated in 1998 with my loan beginning in 1999, I legitimately fell injured during 1999. ECMC has NEVER cooperated with: open ethical communication lines, operating at legitimate ombudsman service (they have one, or did; and, it is entirely dysfunctional and/or a front for auditors), REPEATEDLY hung up on me when I stated I was injured and CONTINUES to refuse to work out any type of payment or settlement that is possible and does not increase principal+balance year end. Sure I can pay ECMC; however I am not ALLOWED to pay down the loan, am blamed for the balance and will NEVER be allowed to escape the debt that ALWAYS increases, no matter the form or standing of the debt.

ECMC exists for one purpose: to create endentured individuals with or without educational credential.

ECMC's sole purpose is to obliterate educated and/or middle class (or anyone who desires to challenge a wealthy ruling class).ECMC is supported in congress by all the wrong interests, through lobbying.

Sqfn: well said. I agree that most of people like OP probably fake their so called injuries to avoid paying. I also agree that going to Everest was a very dumb decision and the OP needs to dish out the money he owes.

It appears you are one of those who wanted the money and now that you must pay the man, you want to be forgiven. These fake injuries used as an excuse to not work and not pay back loans need to stop. Too many have the phantom "back injury," " knee pain because your fat" or the "headaches that won't stop." I agree with the other post, get a job, pay your way through life and pay back the loan. I would have advised you not to get the loan for Everest, its a worthless degree, but you chose to go there, now man up and pay.

With all the new regulations the Obama administration is enacting concerning student loan repayment ECMC won't be needed. This is one of the reasons ECMC and their friends at the Department of Education put the CCi/Zenith deal together. When ECMC is no longer needed to collect unpaid student loans they will still receive federal funds for their fraudulent company called Zenith Education Group. By claiminga non-profit status it is exempt from all the tuff regulations that for-profit education companies are under. Zenith can continue to be as unethical as CCi was without being held accountable because of the non-profit title.

Send in the hit man ECMC. ECMC will start cutting off your fingers until you cough up the cash. That's how they make more money from the tax payers. Stealing from the tax paying working man just like their fake schools.
