Do you guys think that the High Tech bubble that's been forming in the Bay Area for a while may burst in 2016? Should we expect massive high tech layoffs in the Bay Area any time soon? It seems that we are seeing some signs of this already (Twitter, anyone else)? Let's say the market dips a bit, and companies feel under pressure, maybe something like that can trigger the cuts? #bayarea

#TechLayoffs seem be the only layoffs on this site (aside from #OilandGas) Not sure what to say - with the market tanking I think there will be a great bubble deflation and many people will leave the field. We'll see - it's all fueled by free money that the gov is printing... Now, given that the #BayArea is the center of the tech world - you know what will happen there... Right, right - LAYOFFS
The "LOL" guy here is a hate-filled gr3 RCG who works at Intel and believes the world owes him big time. Ignore the hate - I saw a post saying he was on/off medication.
Yup. Tough break. LOL
Oh the humanity! LOL LOL LOL
It's starting to happen already - Flipagram 20% Cut, Twitter 300+ people, Zomato 300 folks, Snapchat 12+, add to that older outfits such are MSFT, us, Cisco, Honeywell, Citrix, Qualcomm, IBM and HP, there you have it... Each bigger company has a busy page here on layoffs dot com
