Layoffs came on Friday, the 23rd. Estimates are between 125 - 150 in Houston alone, too many for HR to handle. Managers had to do their own dirty work. They started at 9 am started calling people in, handing out packets of paper and told people to pack and get out - - immediately. Severance came in the form of 1 weeks of pay for each year of service, ok if you've been there a while but sucks if you've only been there a year or two.

l hear there is an investigation going on on the delivery of drugs at dril-quip parking lot, too much drug being deliver by the guy they mention, l hear that when you walk in those bathrooms all you hear is people using drugs and the hight number of N.C.Rs. due to all the drug use.
the supervisor at nightshift is a bully, always tslking to his buddys about the whore secretaries of the day that all of them are his hoes, talking that they always come at night luch time to suck him dry, guy dont know shit about machining but if you look for him after lunch he will be absent for 3 hours,this moron is supervisor thanks to the hard work of some hard working people that he takes all the credit for, even koko the gorilla can be a supervisor there, shame on this people that make a lot of money talking on the phone all night and just riding the golf cart, l will never work for this bastards anymore.

Dril quip is a very bad company to work for you have to work a lot of overtime just to make it and then you got jackasses as supervisors you have several supervisors that have racial comments against black people and they are still working for this company then you have the black guys that works there that stab each other in the back this is a bad
To the last post, watch what you say if it's who I think it is his mother works for the engineering manager that's probably why he's still around, either way there is a designer that has a condition where he can't sleep at home but can comfortably sleep in his workstation, why do the managers keep people like this, glad he's not in my group.
The lead man in drafting is incompetent and does not correct his workers, every time I leave him work he's either smoking on his phone in his desk or up chatting with his colleagues and showing inappropriate photos on his phone, then managers complain about NCR's and revisions percentage. His manager or managers should evaluate his performance
I was out there 10 years people with less seniority where kept which I don't understand my attendance was on par with those that where kept in Coating dept Luis Martinez has most people ether his friends or relatives that work for him mostly. Hispanic in that department not fair
