Used to work for Chubb - My job had outstanding benefits, profit sharing and pension plan was exceptional. The company was going through a major layoff and I was let go. That's such a bummer as I enjoyed working there. My boss, Lisa was the best boss ever, and even though she had to let me go it was not her decision and I still think she's an outstanding person and a great team leader. Chubb will teach you a lot about insurance and about business, you will get wonderful skills there - so if you have an opportunity to work for Chubb, do not worry about layoffs, just go and work for them as long as you can as you will profit from the experience regardless of what happens later and if they have job cuts or not (happens every once in a while).

That chubb is gone. That accountant CEO invested nothing and left it a much weaker company. If he only did half as much for Chubb as he did for himself....
