I don't care what anyone says. Pete Miller you are truly missed. NOV will never be what it once was. NOV has gone downhill fast.

Yes, Pete is really good. However, some of his assistants are sucked such as the Orange director and 529.
Pete Miller is not the reason NOV is in the shape it is.
That is hilarious. Pete Miller is one of the reasons NOV is in the shape it is in. He trusted a lot of people who took advantage of him, he didn't organize the acquisitions and conform NOV around them and promoted each division to compete and fight with each other. Basically he encouraged the silos that have been built and by remaining hands off on acquisitions allowed redundant manufacturing sites all over the world. There is redundant sales, manufacturing, management and more all over and now that the industry is taking a nose dive NOV and Clay Williams are being forced to reduce due to the business and being exceedingly fat from the Pete years. Pete was and still is a visionary when it comes to the industry and what can and will happen but he was downright awful at running the organization.
Do you honestly believe that the management that Pete left in place and hand picked has been solely to blame for what is going on? Delusional!
