Anyone that buys a product or service from Ceridian is a fool. The products are bad because the company is a mess and it is all about cost cutting and reducing perks so the private equity owners can cash out, They were trying to do that but the market crashed. Ceridian depends more on good marketing and smoke and mirrors to trick gullible Hr people into purchasing their inferior products. The people leading at Ceridian are not the best people to lead, they are people's buddies, it is definitely not a meritocracy, the same people are promoted all the time. Also the culture is truly terrible, you just need to Google Ceridian Canada stabbing to see how one guy flipped out, don't believe for a second that he was a crazy, again another piece of ceridian marketing.

I had a good experience 👍 working at Ceridian. I left after 3 years but my experience was more than positive- the manager was stellar and my team was supportive
Outside view of Ceridian-your outside of the US hires have no idea of what they are doing, are terrible to work with and due to your system setup projects take forever to complete.
Management was filled with backbiting, in-fighting, turf-warring a-holes. They're still running software I built for them 15 years ago. Worst company I ever worked for.
2018 - they have hired people who worked at IBM who don't know how to set up anything. No framework but given Director titles. Interviewed with one who was a joke because she doesn't know what she's doing relying on a junior hire to do everything for her. Don't hire former IBM workers.

Further, I don't condone his actions, they were despicable, however I have witnessed work place bullying at this company by supervisors, where people are pushed far too hard or harassed until they quit the job. Unfortunately this guy reacted in the wrong way.
