Got laid off this week but learned some interesting news regarding the HP separation into HPE and HPI. Will post details later.

Thanks, I've got a few prospects already. Nice to have a decent severance package as a safety net. Employees deserve this. If you get fired for performance reasons, not so much, but layoffs, yes, it is deserved. Don't let the trolls make you think otherwise
Every wave of cuts will offer less and less severance. I was with IBM, saw that unravel
