Everyone in the industry is saying to look for SLB to sell off V & M. V & M has been struggling financially and it doesn't fit into SLB's portfolio of equipment and services. Rumors are that G.E. or FlowServe (or possibly even Emerson) will buy V & M. They may sell V & M as a whole or they may sell the Valves group and the Measurement group separately. It is not likely that they will separate DSV and EPV after integrating the two into one and laying off all of the "spare parts" left over.

I'm hearing a deal is being finalized.....
V&M hasn't been losing money and contributes a lot of EBITDA to Cam, that said it wouldn't be a shock to see SLB spin them off.
XXX, if you're so certain of the sale, why not post who the buyer is?
What's the source of your info? Confirmation available?
Yeah right.... in monopoly money.
XXX bought VM for 500, deal to close late 15.
