I am surprised that nobody is posting here - things are not good and are not getting better, you have a situation here where we'll have layoffs in 2016 as well. People are losing hope, and that's not fun for anyone. If you think that we may start doing better, think twice and there is nothing that the executives are doing that may improve the overall situation

PS if you believe people are being let go because they were bad at their jobs and need to be go, then why has none of those jobs been list as open to fill.
the reason is they just needed to cut the budget anyway they could and did not care how they did it.
Back in April and May when the merger started to fail, Sysco corporate change their payroll system to start keeping detailed time logs.
then they system writing up people for little thing like, late, not notifying CFO, Backup, team lead and HR by email before and on the day for each day you are out.
not meeting standards on CMP that no one has meet. writing people up for just about anything.
this is so they can just let people go without paying that 1week for each year of service, some people have 15 to 20 years of service, that a lot of money.
plus they then don't have to pay the unemployement either because they fired you because of the write ups.
most department have to cut money. wall street said 11 million cut in IT alone.
In may/june BT meeting the fy14 budget was $420m and we came in at $418m, that is why we all got bonuses in July.
then in Aug the new FY15 budget was only $400m, when I heard that, I knew people were going to be let go.
same with the IT budget freeze on buying pcs that started in may.
if the new budget is only $400m and wall street said $11m in IT cuts, that means $6m more still must have to go.
I lot of people have been let go for cause and not given any money.
I was one of them.

I'm worried as well. There is a bad vibe in the company, it is way too slow for this time of year, the mid-winter sales volumes in fall, this is not normal. We've all been told to cut costs where possible, but if this doesn't work.....???

A week of severance for each year of service. I am one of about thirty being let go. But I hear there will be more.
