Thread regarding Cameron International Corp. layoffs

Future of the Cameron Golden children

I am excited for the buy out. Not because I want to work for SLB not because I want go people to loose there jobs but because I can not wait to see the A$$hole non technical "gift of the golden tongue" Cameron chosen ones to loose the a$$'s that made them who they were. You know who you are, you never designed a thing, you don't know the internals of a tree scm cvc jumper manifold etc, you have never been offshore, you have never wrote a procedure, all you can do is suck on some upper managers nards. I can not wait to see SLB replace these people with their own chosen ones.

and guess what the most ironic things is about all this? I will help decide and let my new SLB boss know who are the technical guys we can let go of so that we can get a bigger bonus at the end of the month. I talked my way right into that job without knowing anything about technical stuff and who cares if it puts money in my pocket and keeps me in a job. Hallelujah for those Schlumberger suckers

Anonymous154724. My political skills are formidable and will see me safely through the SLB integration to make sure I get the 6 figure bonus offered and a good position within their organization. No worries there. I may have to sacrifice a few less able Cameron colleagues along the way to prove my value to them but overall I fully expect the acquisition to work out good for me. This is going to be the most $$$ lucrative time in my career and I intend to make the most of it.

Spelling has a lot to do with technical know how. Loose and lose are two completely different.

Here, this should keep you from looking like an asshole:http://theoatmeal.com/comics/misspelling

Yes spelling first as that is what counts to you not technical pricks who can only spell. Spelling is the most important thing even above designing equipment to get oil and gas out of the ground

SLB's first set of cuts will be the people who cannot spell.

Antonymous 154655 You only think you are getting over on SLB. I can assure you SLB knows who is good and who you are unless you are one of the few that negotiated this buy out you are a pawn and they are playing you. Everyone is replaceable and you will be disposed of like used toilet paper. There was a reason SLB started up OSS and implanted their people in the system it was to learn it so the can cull the Cameron heads.

Hi - I am one of those golden children with a gift for the gab and little technical knowledge and have already been told that SLB will pay me a 6 figure bonus to stay and help with the integration including identifying those employees who are valuable for the company (like myself) and cutting where its needed.

Those SLB suckers believed everything I told them hook line and sinker. Easy money and a few more years sucking the blood out of Cameron

Thank you SLB
