Weatherford to be Sold in December 2015 or Jan 2016

In my opinion, Weatherford will go up for sale in December. Reason I believe this is the govt monitor goes away in June. Give it 6 months. There are too many irregularities in what executive management says and does right now, even more than the usual. CEO told a large group on managers last January 2014 that "we are safe for 18 months" because nobody would want to buy us with the monitor in place. His favorite saying is we can hang together or we can hang separately. Don't know about you but I don't plan to "hang" either way! I'm outta here!

It is about time. Weatherford talks a good game but compliance is not one of their core values.

Weatherford in one of the Federal Lawsuits for fraud has lied under oath and committed perjury in a Federal Lawsuit in an action. This is a violation of their probation, a motion will be filed with the Federal Court and a copy will be sent to the Monitor. They are a bunch of liars just like there lawyers.

Weatherford thinks they can get away with anything, not anymore

Do you want to buy a company with 7,8 billion deb? And a bunch off morrons? You will get the old metal for free. Never never ever weatherford will be solid. They will let it sink after they ripped it more empty. Then they will somehow earn money again from the sinking ship.

Monitor

Weatherford also agreed to an external monitor. However, the term of the monitor is not the entire length of the three-year DPA; the term of the monitor is only 18 months. The monitor’s primary function is to assess the company’s compliance with the terms of the DPA and report the results to the DOJ at least twice during the terms of the monitorship. After this 18-month term the DOJ will allow the company to self-report to the regulators. It should be noted that the term of the external monitor can be extended by the DOJ.

Weatherford Monitors are not going way for three years from November 2013 so it will be in November 2016 when they go away. Look up the criminal indictment. BTW Weatherford is under probation and if they violate any laws, they will be prosecuted under the guilty plea
