Only thing that is really important is did the chip work!!!
If you come in late, nobody should care.
Early to work and broken chip back from fab = FIRED or LAY OFF.
10am because work is round the clock
No, 10am is really early. I'll maybe send an "I'm online" email about then, but usually from my phone while I'm still in bed. I usually show up around noon - in time to meet up for lunch (between 10-noon, a few more emails go out to let everyone know "I'm working"). Then after lunch maybe leave office open for a bit, check email again, then sneak out by 2-3pm.
Some late morning arrivers are because they were working until 10:00 PM.
Getting in early just means an even longer day.
I doubt it. The 10:00-10:30's only do it because they're kissing asses to get away with it. QC has some of the best ass kissers in the business. Hard workers with poor ass kissing skills will be targeted hardest.
