Dear All - Just got a job offer from a company out of state and in a different industry! The relo package is EXCELLENT and the pay, including sign-on bonus, is FABULOUS!! I AM SO OUT OF HERE!!! I wish all those of you who would be laid off (as well those who would be retained) by SLB the very best of luck.

Well you may think that but for me I am learning each day from this site why working for SLB will be a total disaster for Cameron employees given I am one of those employees destined for this Armageddon of my beloved company

Gents - this is an SLB scam disguised as a Nigerian thing to get rid of Cameron employees without paying lay off money
They have a group in HR thinking up these crazy schemes
Cam corporate - that is the exact same deal those Nigerian scammers offered me and all I can tell you is that it was total BS and my wife left me because of the stress. Good luck for you but beware those scamming SOBs.
I since heard they are all ex SLB employees and know how to milk the system.

This is CAM Corporate again. In my case, your suspicions are TOTALLY BASELESS. I had 3 rounds of interviews (one phone screen and 2 in-person interviews). I have a written offer from them and my wife and I have already gone up there for a house-hunting trip for which the company is reimbursing me. My relo package provides for a buyout by the company if I am unable to sell our house within 90 days. I get an additional 5% of the sale price if we are able to sell the house within the 90 day period. I don't know about you guys, to me this is a PRETTY GOOD relo package. You can say all you want about Nigerian Scams, but this is clearly not one of them. Once again, I wish you all good luck. As for me and my family, WE ARE SO OUT OF HERE!!!
There was an email sent to Cameron managers yesterday to beware of false job offers that offer great packages as a few of them have been caught out with this scam in the past few weeks.
If it looks too good to be true then it probably is. Your future is better served with Schlumbeger

you got scammed my friend. I also got a similar offer for a similar position only to find out it was a Nigerian scam and there was no job or signing on bonus.

They are bragging. They could also be lying. There are so many scammers now. Doesn't matter to anyone but them anyway.
