If you're currently employed by Zenith, the best thing you can do is to continue doing your job. I don't have an inside track on any of the higher level plans our company must make, but I can tell you 99% of these posts are BS. If you never had faith in CCi and have lost faith in Zenith, and you feel you can't give 100%, just leave. In my opinion, one of the worst types of hypocrite is the one who says his company is corrupt, and yet sticks around for a check. Some of us still believe in what we do and some feel this company has a great future. A lot of good people lost their jobs and they'll be able to find other jobs because they're good. Some of the others who were terminated for cause will not, and probably represents the majority of people posting negative comments on this site. So for everyone else, hang in there, stay optimistic, continue taking care of our students, and try not to spend too much time on this site.

Do you mean the call center when write of the contact center? And where is the contact center located?
Zenith is just like cci just laid off all the contact center, most of Tampa, 3 more schools are now closed pull ur head out of your ass and see what's going down... Everest is good luck on any severance I'd bet they close all schools in 6 months to a year
Everyone I know that loved what they do got layed off and all the ones left are just holding on hoping no student will see what little they know. Keep talking this is fun.
How can you getcheerleaders to STFUp? show the warts.
Ahaha 075! Excellent point, but obviously these are working in gray area from here on out.
367, My employment offer letter from Zenith in December 2014 stated that all seniority would transfer over. If they it didn't transfer every one would have started a square one with vacation, sick leave and insurance benefits as well.
EUO: Its surely is a sign when the HR department starts to jump ship. Usually thats the best sign. However after a rocky period i finally found dry land off of the Everest ship.
People still don't get it. They keep referring to seniority. Zenith bought the company from the now bankrupt CCi on 2/2/2015. The most seniority any person can have with Zenith is since 2/2/2015. Any tenure prior was not with Zenith.
Does Zenith give 100 % ???
106, point well taken. What many are up against now are vacation requests being denied because of lack of campus staff. I sorry that I have to deny your request for vacation because there is no one available to perform your duties while you would be off. How many of you have gotten this reply to your vacation request?
Working for Zenith is like being blindfolded and walked out in front of a firing squad, hoping they miss you when the guns are fired. If you're one of the ones still standing you're walked back into work and given a pep talk by King Dave, only to have the process repeated every three months.
The less paid and less seniority usually are usually the less committed and emloyment seeking (less loyal). That comes with the territory. The campuses are at the point where there is not enough staff to service the students. The few staff that are left MOST are over worked and underpaid and have no backup. One more RIF and this house of cards come tumbling down. Some one read last rites.
038 - RIFs are done to reduce cost. Laying off more senior people - who are likely paid more- saves more money than laying off less experienced, lower paid employees. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Exactly what I stated in my last sentence.
038: I agree with some of what you said. However, closing and consolidation is going to bring more RIFs. ... I guarantee it.
991 here again. There's no need to call others slackers and non loyal. It was not their choice who stayed and who was left go. What I'm saying is that someone who was a good long time employee should have had the opportunity to stay over someone with less seniority. Even if your position was being eliminated you should have been given the choice to move into a different position if you were qualified for that position. That's how competent companies perform a reduction in force and maintain employee morale. Be as upset as you want with Zenith, but don't bash the people that had nothing to do with your termination. By the way, the terminations are coming from corporate level management not campus level. I know as a fact, the names of those terminated in April came from just one upper management person and he went in the last RIF. But I can guarantee there will be more RIFs coming with the closings and consolidating.
Is OP PeeWeeHerman or Mary Poppins? Where is Wanda Sykes?
980: Name 3 things that Zenith did to give you or anyone else hope.
Ditto! RIFing top performers with experience and keeping slackers with no loyalty defies business 101 logic to remain an effective operation. It is clear either the plan is to wind biz operations down or the decision makers are completely clueless! Keep your options open if you know what is good for you.
I have to agree with 991 comments. I don't think anyone is arguing that RIFs were NOT necessary because clearly the student population cannot support the administrative bloat that has plagued the organization for a long long time. What IS frustrating and inexcusable is the capricious way that our colleagues were selected because it just makes absolutely no sense to keep the worst performers and RIF some of the best, able, hard-working people that really made a difference. Last week's RIF has sucked the air out of the company and only increased network traffic to CareerBuilder, Indeed, and other job boards. Not good leadership by any accounts...
There are many people who believed in the students and Zenith that were treated very unfairly. I was raised to believe that hard work, dedication, loyalty and seniority was what most employers wanted from their employees. To this company none of those things mean anything. You are no more than an employee number on a paycheck and are expendable. So, a lot of people are here to express their anger over how they were treated. And like you stated, people watched many great coworkers being told they were no longer welcome to work for Zenith any longer. Many current employees are just biding their time until the Grimm Reaper comes for them. What myself and many others are saying is, if a good opportunity comes along not to pass it up. It's a lot easier mentally to leave on your terms than to leave by their terms. If you're feeling optimistic about Zenith's future hang in there, just don't get too upset if the Grimm Reaper comes a calling. Like Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry would say, ask yourself this question, Do I Feel Lucky?Well do you punk?
You have to ask yourself, what is 957's angle? I doubt if it's anybody in the know. They wouldn't get on this site and try to convince you there's no hope. It wouldn't be in their best interest. Nah, this is a person who was either hurt personally, professionally, or financially by either CCI or Zenith. Their only goal is to scare as many people possible into leaving the company and I can guarantee you he or she doesn't care about you. If you love what you do, just keep doing it -- everything else will work itself out.
OP: You don't have the inside track or the outside track. You are not sure what Zenith is going to do but you are 99% of the posts are BS. Well... did the RIF's happened as it was predicted here? Yes. Is Stigliish gone? Yes. Is Zenith corrupted? Yes. Are schools being consolidated? Yes. Please do your home a little more before you lead people the wrong way. Thank you.
The best thing you can do is keep your head low while looking for another job.....
Well said! Agree 100%
