But do not get too complacent, CNH is notoriously unpredictable and things can change at any point in time. I have many friends that work in different industries and they are going through layoffs right now, it's not good to look for job especially if you are over 40 years old. At the same time, you have to accept the fact that it is competitive out there and CNH and other companies are doing everything (including layoffs) in order to improve the bottom line. Payroll is typically the biggest expense and many companies will just go ahead and cut to the bone. At some point, it starts to hurt and companies then stop to cut but sometimes it's too late? So, what kind of approach CNH is going to take this time around?
