Gates are open this Wed morning
I heard there's going to be forced retirements. The severance won't be as generous as last time tho.
Are you kidding me? That's the nugget of info? The management floors!!
The management floors…
Anonymous 149669, to which two floors are you referring?
Maybe you could be just a little more corporate coach speakish
These cuts will likely require significant departmental reorgs as most groups are pretty thinly staffed already. I'd look for follow-on announcements of organizational changes as groups get combined and people get moved around.
I am not saying this is not true but no one knew until it was announced last time. Why "this time" is there so much info? Is this Houston only? Is it field offices also? So much info with so little information.
Does anyone know the percentage being laid off?
It's starting Wednesday AM, and all floors we'll be affected with two exceptions...
I'd bet before the presentation. Odds are, the layoffs are included in his presentation. Unless they want to be total jerks and have us find out by listening/watching the presentation.
What about field offices? Pretty quiet from what I can tell in field offices.
Whispers would be an understatement, my guess would be after the presentation.
Where are you seeing that the word is out? Just whispers through the grapevine? I'd bet it happens this week too, probably Wednesday. The only thing I can't decide on is if it goes out before Lee does his presentation at the Barclays conference or after it.
Wonder if the email from Lee goes out early in the morning and then people start getting escorted out within 5 minutes like last time? I guess we just look for the cabs lined up again, that way we know what's about to go down.
The word is out, this is definitely happening this week.
Rumors are IT to have meeting on Wednesday for badge access (when to cut access) and it looks like Thursday its happening.
Watch for the signs, early morning mass email and exit gates locked open in the parking garage
