Back in May of this year (2015) there was a carnage at United in Florida. Hundreds of layoffs and there was very little media coverage.
Almost all big United locations were hit, Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami and JAX. Bumping Rights were involved as well. Here are the counts:
69 workers laid off at the Palm Beach International Airport. 148 laid off at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. 115 workers at Miami International Airport as well. And finally, 66 job losses in Jacksonville...
