Well easy for you I say, I just started a lease BMW, a $320,000 mortgage in Edmond and about $7500 in credit card debt. Still paying off the $1400 I spent for work clothes and shoes I'm f***ed
I'm really not that worried about getting laid off. Likely get 3 months of pay and cobra, and then unemployment after that. Savings after that. People do still have savings accounts right?
I think the social media group is too busy with monitoring Connect to be watching this site. Speaking of witch, how many Connect points do I get for posting on here?
Are we not supposed to posting on our work computers? The site is not blocked. At least on my computer. What about anyone else?
Wasn't implying that they are attempting to identify or locate sources of posts. Simply saying they have people that watch these types of sites for activity, has nothing to do with origin. In fact, at one time we had a social media group and that's all they did. They may still be employed.
One would hope that no one is posting on this site from a piece of company issued equipment....
One would have to believe the C Suite is fully aware of the rumors an unrest on campus. The fact that there has been no denial by management likely speaks more than an actual layoff announcement. HR also has people who troll this and all CHK internet traffic, so they are fully aware of what people are thinking and saying regarding this topic.
Doubt if they can back it up. The best thing to happen would be for management to come out and state it is not going to happen! Would certainly alleviate the fears at Chesapeake!

I've been lubed up since July. Every day/week brings a new guess for "the day". I do agree that September is looking promising. Until then I'm going to keep working and not worry about what may or may not happen.
