CSC lost 4 or 5 today and I believe 13 across all business units. A couple of other people resigned earlier this week. IT has been restructured and it looks pretty darn good from an expertise/technology viewpoint. I was surprised to find out ECMC had people in IT 24/7 and now people will have to be on call. The CIO has a good plan on saving money, 11 million in the next 3 years.

Awwww did someone get their feelings hurt?
Thanks for the update IT Worker. I, for one, appreciate the information on what the effects are across the company and at the CSC. This is a job and like every other job will end one day regardless of what we the employee want. Security in employment is a artifact from a bygone era in American workplaces and its important for us to see an accurate picture of what is going on. Maybe the whe thing is unravelling? I don't know, but I would much rather leave and get what's available while it is rather than wait until the doors are locked without notice like in CA.
You all are incompetent derelicts , please pay for an opportunity to take business 101. The education landscape has changed, before the zenith merger happened we were in trouble with the regulatory bodies and financially. This company's trying and it won't be easy. Bitching and moaning in anonymity will solve nothing. If you believe what you are saying, stand up and put your name behind your words or continue to stand behind your mama (this website) like a BITCH .
Maybe they should start focusing on how to lose the cci.edu domain name don't you think? How much is the CIO getting paid again?
Who gives a flying f$ck
Zenith only needs IT for 3 more months. After that it's only ECMC that needs it to keep track of all the loan defaults it gets to collect.
There will not be a Zenith in 3 years. Better figure out how to save 11 million in three months while doubling enrollment.
