What groups are to be part of the 9/8 layoff?
Please indicate the respective percentages of these groups.
Why hasn't there been any communication out about it similar to what COP released?
Will the process be similar to the IT layoffs that took place in April?
Will these cuts be deep enough that they are the last of the year?
If you don't know any of these, please indicate, but if you do know ANY of these with a reliable source, PLEASE share!

Chevron- 25% with more to come once ROM is finished

These are just a few of the big names that I recall off the top of my head!! And those numbers are all fact!! Public record! PRAY you don't get laid off. It's dog eat dog out there right now. NO jobs left!! And if you find one you are competing with EVERYONE that got laid off plus the 5000 new grads that can't find jobs! U will work ur resume like a full time job, with little to no prevail. So---Keep ur head down, get shit done, kiss ass, and do whatever else u need to do, if ur families wellbeing is based on being employed!!! Best of luck.

You guys seem pretty sure Sept 8 is your day, I think we are right behind you on the 22nd. Lots of events for late Sept early Oct have been cancelled. The unemployment office can't handle all of us showing up the same day. ;)

This thing is starting to resemble the CHK threads. I read it daily for enjoyment. You can't worry about something you have little or no control over so why bother? If your number comes up take the package and move on. There is a brave new exciting world outside of Devon. If you are a doubter then ask someone who has been laid off recently.

The reliable source will be all those laid off as they walk out the door. Just assume any day could be your last, then you won't be so shocked when it actually happens. The rumors are your heads up and warning.
Do you really thing someone is going to provide that much detail? They make everyone sign agreements not to disclose information.
