Apparently because of ABS cancellation, not really sure. They say it'll be several hundred. LA Times had an article on this but I am puzzled why nobody told us before they announced it to journalists. This really bugs me, I do not find it fair and it is certainly not professional. I'll look for that link and will post it once I find it - there is not much info there but it's a start.

There have been continuous layoffs.
The announcement is just PR for garnering support for import/export bank.
Any idea on the numbers for this layoff in El Segundo? Or, will we have to wait until after September 10, and check this site:
