Thread regarding Syntel Inc. layoffs

Syntel Attrition going up further and further.

Its real fact that ,syntel's attrition is going up and up. Attrition rate they say around 42%, not sure its right or wrong but Syntel is recruiting freshers alone to replace Leads, Developers and Senior Developers.Citing heavy attrition , Everybody asked to stay for 90 days, some forced to stay more than 90 also. I heard and saw atleast 1 to 2 resignation per project / per account / BU. Managers getting the worst hit here. Replacement not ready . Persons who got offers back out to join Syntel. Onsite is also facing problem as US Embassy is asking for client letter and I heard from a reliable DD that, Syntel internally requested to postpone Stamping for H1B resources and also informed PM's not to send people for stamping unless or otherwise immediate billing is there. around 19 Guys got Blue slips while leaving for Stamping and Syntel not ready to respond anytime immediately. I also heard people whoever crossed 2 yrs in syntel / till tech-leads ,most of them looking for other opportunities. Possibilities that Syntel will be taken over by some other company post Jan 2016. Request not to believe Syntel by headcount ,since most of replacement are freshers and they are just recruited to show head count.

It's true situation in SYNTEL, where H1 stamping is completely on-hold across Mumbai - Pune - Chennai. They have been following fraudelent practice of providing any SOW for any resource to get h1 stamped. It seems USCIS is tighting the noose around this IT company - which just act as body shopper. Please share the word to make your near & dear ones aware of the situation in SYNTEL and warn them against joining the SYNTEL. As per the latest top management idea, they are planning to hire contractors for 3 months till the resource vaccume is filled up with new inexperienced freshers from the market. This is really lowest level of management and hitting below the belt to employees.
