Does anyone know of anyone in human resources that is actually worth their salt when it comes to providing information to employees? Ours is Langston Bryant and he is a real piece of work. Some green thumb that just graduated college and they gave him a job most likely because of his color because he is a sure sack of ass. In most large companies, HR folks in the offices are deliberately aloof. They don't answer phones unless they come from high management or the legal group. They keep their distance from the rank and file employee. HR serves as a buffer between the corporate Executives and the personnel.
HR should be changed out but again..HR is a reflection of the current organization. Apples don't fall far from the tree. No Surprises.

My HR rep is useless too. Can't answer anything, and another HR lady that did the "MOR help session" literally knew nothing. I was asking simple questions like deadlines and she had absolutely no idea. We are really on our own here....
To the last poster, you are an idiot. If what you said were true, she would not have lasted almost a decade here at Shell. Go get back under the rock you crawled from under.
She's pretty worthless too. Same story.. Got her job based on skin color. She never replies to emails either and when she does you better believe the attitude is huge.
