The much anticipated cut back of salaried Hershey employees has begun. I know of at least 10 people at the Technical Center who were given their pink slips this week alone and several more in the corporate offices. As per past practice they are focusing on long tenured, higher salary employees so as to reduce the companies exposure to having to pay out high pensions.
