So far they are taking advantage of their employees how? Well by not giving significant raises and making them feel like "they should be glad they got a job". I work in finances and have some good friends of mine in Trican's HR. They will draw people's "blood" slowly until they can't suck anymore. Keeping people hoping for a better tomorrow so they can keep them for cheap is not professional. The company has a 75% of financial distress in the next 24mos and that means yes... bankruptcy. Their US business will decrease to the point they will ultimately protect their Canadian business although they have other international business.
I am sorry for the bad news but if you are hoping to retire in this company, good luck because you won't unless you are in Canada and that's a maybe. I say keep your options open and don't be willing to sacrifice too much unless you have invested 10+yrs of your career in there. I am upset how companies mislead their employees every time and by the end of the day is all about numbers.
