A lot of us actually did lose our jobs to offshore workers. Usually this was a mistake for most companies, nuff on this. Today, with the H1B schema, companies are importing their own cheap labor... rather than run the remote stuff... Many of them are doing it through shell companies or temp agencies (e.g., Adecco) so they're not liable. It's just f-ing crazy how this is all working out.

We'll see what happens now that there is a ton of litigation on this topic (IBM, Disney, Edison) - it's illegal and someone needs to stop it
