Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

HP doesn't care.

Went from an awesome place to work with a great manager to a stress filled nightmare with a new first time manager that shit on everyone except her two favorites. The very first time I spoke to her she wanted to PIP me because I didn't make our first one on one because of a customer call. I was rep of the month a few months before that for the whole country. It went down hill from there.

HP hasn't cared about employees for a long, long time. They are just like, if not worse than any other corporation. They will never learn what valuable assets they have in their employees. If they had remained in the U.S. they would still be on top. Too late. Bye Bye HP. You will be gone soon enough.

Extreme Dumbass Stupidity or Extreme Stupidity. Take your pick

When HP picked up EDS the worst of both corporate cultures blended into what exists today at ES. Today, managers who see what's really going on are either drinking the koolaid and shouting praises (rearranging the deck chairs), or leaving like rats from a sinking ship. A few will hang on for the next few years until they can retire. Trust none of them.

EDS aka ES is the division.

I would like to know which division people are posting about. I suspect the corporate culture of the original HP is different than what was EDS - Enterprise Services. Am I wrong about that?
