You land a 100 million dollar deal one year and so you don't have to carry the quota the next year you become a manager. My new manager had zero people skills and everyone on the team can't stand her. She was late for every appoint,end we had together but if I was ever late, which I never was, I would have been dead. Besides she is an ugly dyke.

Ugly dyke? That has something to do with her incompetence? That's offensive since it has zip to do with her work skills. Not everyone is a breeder. :-)
My current manager has been cancelling my one to one meetings week after week and has been using the room where our meetings are suppose to take place to gather with his friends and talk about Sunday's football games. He has been with HP since the 80s working his way up from manufacturing floor to IT. He is completely clueless about computers. All he know what to do is spew buzzwords during meeting abroad and tell offensive joke. What a guy!

Oh yes. The classic do as I say, not as I do approach. The manager's credibility drops to zero when I see this. Had an HP manager that would openly scold people for showing up to our weekly 1:00 PM meeting at 1:00 PM. He routinely was often late or would never show up at all for the staff meetings with no notice. Then again maybe he couldn't give notice.... he had been a manager for 4 years before he figured out how to create and send out Outlook appointments/cancellations.
