Devon cannot survive this - very few oil companies can. Stocks are dropping like crazy all over this industry, every company is suffering. Devon WILL have to do something and the fastest, quickest thing they can do is whack employees. I hope you all saved your money because very soon, what's happening at CHK will likely happen here.

Stock over $40 today.
Loans are not based on stock price, They are based on assets. That includes what the oil is worth in the ground.
We should hurry and lighten the baggage. Some people should sacrifice.
Loans are based on stock price. With the stock this low, it's going to get ugly for DVN with a capital U. Best of luck to you all.
