Agreed, although 1500 seems high in comparison to 13', it actually sounds like an appropriate number. For everyone talking about the big rebound coming, it may be 3 - 5 years off. Many are simply too young to recall, but the low periods can last just as long as the highs. We're on the tail end of a 6 year period of rising prices. All good things come to an end, particularly harsh in this industry though.

How many of you read The Prize when it was given for free? Yeah me neither but I worked in this business since the mid 90s and it can be brutal. It's a boom and bust business and all signs point to a bust right now. You will likely look back on this time and think, "Man I urn for 2015 when I was still working at CHK". Seriously. Hunker down, save your money, love on your family and prepare to ride this storm out in whatever way you have to.
