I noticed someone posted they were tracking the HP hiring trend and was wondering if anyone had a history of all the HP layoffs from 2012 or 2009 to current (ie. dates, number of employees let go, etc).

I have seen numbers all over the place. Some stating a total of 50k so far, some saying 55k so far, some higher. I wish there was a way to get this, including which groups have been impacted and whether their positions were entirely eliminated or if they moved them offshore. Unfortunately, we, the employees don't really have a clue, we just know those on our own teams who have been let go. My group has gone from about 110 to 50 or so, and more are to be let go at the end of October, once they finish training their 'replacements'.
