Oh how much joy to return to on Monday...not.

If CDK really wanted to save themselves some big $ so it is attractive to sell they should look at removing their Chief and save his obscene millions and next his colleagues and then use the talent from within which has the brains to make good products and provide good services but held back by top management focused on selling the business.

They look to have lost the confidence of their staff even more now in 2018, morale very low, how they sleep at night I do not know!

I am sure somewhere they can find people to run a company without paying them obscene millions, maybe the overloaded top heavy HR team can investigate this...

CDK Global philosophy after the ADP spin off ( October 2014 ) has been a total disaster and a disgrace to former employees that gave their hearts & souls to the company for many years. Its been all about thinning the employee base to make the company more financially attractive in preparation to have the company sold. The CEO they brought in several years back to perform the thinning task is nothing but a hired gun with a history of dismantling peoples lives.

There were VP led conference calls across multiple orgs today to discuss the new layoffs that occurred yesterday and today. in the meantime, we're tasked with building tools for the ever growing India team. The Manilla team has begun to slowly replace US members with our support and technical teams.

They led some great talent (tenured, highly paid) out the door today. This has happened every year since May-Jul since the new CEO took over.

This always occurs after the annual associate survey in March. If you raise any concerns with management, you're reminded "what great scores we had on the survey this year!" (3 months prior).

A new CEO with a past record of destruction, and failed companies. Combine that with temporary jobs in Ohio until the India offices are all filled... Close your eyes, it'll all be over soon. Bye bye.

I am an ex ADP'er that was laid off in 2002. I have kept in touch with some long time friends and have been told that this December the Portland, Oregon technical support team will be disbanded and replaced by people being trained in Ohio. In addition to that, CDK Global just laid off 500 people in North America. I have to wonder if ADP might pick up some of these people since they are the offspring from the spin off.

However, if you look at the financials on this company, they are holding their own and even making money. All oi the layoff, restructuring and sending jobs to offshore countries might be working, but for how long. The customer is king and if you ask any CDK customer how things are going, most will say they are tired of getting some person from a foreign country on the line that cannot help and are pretty much dissatisfied with the low level of customer service. Remember CDK, "CUSTOMER IS KING"... No matter how happy you make the share holders, NO matter how many extra directors and veeps you keep in the club, the customer has to be kept happy so they keep coming back.

Good luck to all of my old friends who have all worked so hard for so many years trying to make ADP/CDK a global winner. I still miss you all... :)

Yes it is true- they are laying off years and years of tenure and knowledge and replacing everyone with minimal salaries and all fresh faces. They figure they can train them for 3 months and throw them right in to the mix. Good luck. Way to go, you classy bunch. Our CEO was booted out because he believed this was wrong.
