Just a quick message on layoffs at Caterpillar... It's all over news that in year 2016, Caterpillar’s revenues and sales are expected to be about 5 percent below 2015, not good, you would have to agreee. The first time in Caterpillar's 90-year history that sales and revenues have decreased four years in a row - this is pretty amazing, for any company, small or big, good or bad. Layoff for as much as 10,000 people through 2018 - this is pretty bad, and many people will be hurt by this

Talk about greedy & selfish! How long have you felt entitled 5ogwu? Those people have earned the right to decide when they will leave the company. It's people like you who perpetuate this environment where dedicated employees are treated like replacement parts.
why doesnt caterpillar have employees with 30years retire so younger people will have jobs..people need to retire and quit being so greedy and selfish
Some Cat employees are hearing that they may loose their jobs due to other laid off employees transferring out of state or relocating. Is this possible?
