Do not wait for layoffs, make a move now. Update your resume, work on your LinkedIn profile, network. Let everyone you know that you are looking for job while you still have it. It's easier to find a job if you are still employed, do not wait to be laid off by HP. WFRs will happen, and they will continue happening for LONG time and you might want to make the move right now, while you still can. Once thousands are let go it'll be harder to find jobs.
